Why Epoxy Instead of Paint or Sealers

Regular floor paint peels under hot tires and lifts where moisture pushes up through the slab. Epoxy is different — it's a two-part resin that chemically bonds to the concrete. Done right, it lasts for years, not months.

Stain and chemical resistant. Oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, and household chemicals wipe up instead of soaking in.

Handles road salt and slush. This matters in Massachusetts. Salt dragged in all winter sits on the surface instead of eating into the concrete.

Safer underfoot. We can add anti-slip texture so the floor stays grippy even when wet.

Our Epoxy Installation Process

Epoxy fails when it's rushed over a dirty floor. Most of the job is preparation:

Diamond grinding. We mechanically grind the concrete to open its pores. Acid etching is cheaper and faster, but grinding gives the bond that lasts.

Crack and joint repair. Cracks get filled and joints addressed before coating — otherwise they telegraph straight through the finish.

Moisture check. We test for moisture vapor pushing up through the slab. If it's an issue, we'll tell you honestly whether epoxy is the right call.

Primer, epoxy coats, and topcoat. Multiple layers, each cured properly. We don't cut the recoat windows to finish a day early.

Realistic timelines. Most residential garages take two to three days. We'll tell you exactly when you can park on it again.
